Helping creative brands develop story-forward digital content for real people.

About Julia

Expert Social Media Manager, Strategist, and Content Creator | M.A. Cinema Studies, Tisch School of the Arts

With 9+ years experience in social asset creation and digital content marketing, I have a proven knack for creating content that enhances and reflects a brand's unique personality while engaging a specific audience. Through my extensive experience creating social content across sectors — tourism, higher education, the Sundance Film Festival, and the Oscars  — I honed my own professional expertise: creating social media assets that resonate, delight, inspire, and elevate a brand’s online voice and influence. Above all, I believe that effective social media marketing lies in its ability to not just produce creative content, but successfully communicate an irresistible story.

I currently serve as the interim Senior Social Media Manager at the Sundance Institute. I’m more than happy to talk all things social, be a professional connection, or discuss the second season of Fleabag. To get in touch, please feel free to message me on LinkedIn.

  • Excessive pop culture, rabbit holes of TikTok, social media marketing newsletters, creative film-based Instagram accounts, weird A24 merch, and really limey gimlets.

  • TikTok and Instagram Reels, Brand Management, Brand Strategy, Online Community Management, Online Community Engagement, Canva and Graphic Design (I designed this site!), Organic Trend and Social Listening, Social Video Editing, Filming, and Production, Copywriting, Content Calendar Management, Press Interviews and Live Event Coverage, Project Management, Task Management, Strategic Content Planning, and Team Management.

  • Seek out consistent forms of social media marketing training and insight, advance interviewing techniques for live events and press lines, help facilitate healthy team workflows and opportunities for growth, develop high-level creative content strategies that expand brand storytelling techniques, and finally figure out if bangs are actually flattering on me.
